Great site! Can't believe how many other sites use this info and why I haven't been here before.
I even have some of this info on My iTouch! Great stuff and thanks for maintaining this site so well!
73--- Tim
and happy holidays!!

Admin reply: Thanks Tim - for the post and the kind words. There are a lot of HAM sites that use the solar banners-so many that I had to cache the image for 10 minutes as it was sending my server over the edge.
I'm glad you stopped by, and please come back often, as I add items all the time.
Happy holidays to you as well!

Admin reply: Thanks for the post Ken - and glad you like the setup.
As far as satellite operations - a steerable antenna is so much better. You can try what I used for over 10 years - two TV rotators! You need the one with the hole all the way through for the mast for elevation (Alliance), and anything for azmiuth. I used ALLIANCE TENNA-ROTOR and a Radio Shack. Azmiuth is easy N-S-E-W. For the elevation, W was level with ground, N was 90 deg up NW was 45 deg - you ge the pic. I worked every sat - even the HEOs at that time with no problem. And I used the Arrow dual band antenna without duplexer so it was small - total cost used from EBAY - less than $100 if you shop around.

Give it some thought - and 73 de Paul N0NBH
